Is Binance sending compensation for the October 2026 hack?
Binance has said it will cover losses. Any real compensation appears inside your account on binance.com or the official app. You will never need to click a link, connect a wallet or enter a recovery phrase to receive it.
How does the scam checker work?
It looks for requests for recovery phrases or private keys, remote-access tools, "send to receive" offers, fake refund and airdrop language, urgency, private-chat links and link shorteners. It flags lookalike and punycode domains for 12 major brands and checks how recently each domain was registered.
What should I do if I already clicked or signed?
Scan your wallet for new approvals and delegations immediately and revoke them. If you entered your recovery phrase anywhere, move everything to a new wallet with a new phrase right now: the old one is permanently compromised.
